Gymnastics Instructor Trainee

Program Overview:

The Volunteer-in-Training (VIT) program at US Swim School Association is designed for youth ages 13-15 who are eager to develop the skills needed to become effective Gymnastics Instructors, Birthday Party Facilitators or Camp Counselors. This is a volunteer position where we train for possible employment opportunities on our team. While participating in the VIT program, you will be considered a volunteer and required to adhere to specific guidelines and restrictions. Please note that the VIT program is a training opportunity, and VITs are not paid. There may be opportunities to grow into one of paid staff positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in training sessions to develop essential management and leadership skills.
• Learn first aid, group leadership, time management, and other essential skills.
• Develop skills that can enhance leadership opportunities in school, extracurricular activities, and future jobs.
