We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Suburban Community Organizer Lead to join our team in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community and work with a dynamic, mom-led organization dedicated to empowering women and defeating extremism.

In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with community members, volunteers, and voters, as well as researching key organizations and political groups in your area. You will also participate in event planning and execution, train local women on organizing techniques, and support earned media opportunities through interviews and public outreach.

To succeed in this position, you must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and data skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguous work and competing priorities, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

The salary for this position is $$50,000, which is commensurate with related experience. We take pay equity seriously and work hard to ensure our team members are paid fairly regardless of their gender, race, or other demographic backgrounds.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including 75% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums, an employer 401(k) match, and a generous holiday schedule.

We are a family-friendly organization that values flexibility and work-life balance. Our team works remotely, running virtual operations nationally and on the ground in five states.
