Position: Senior Financial Analyst - Healthcare Sector

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Financial Analyst to contribute to our mission in the healthcare industry. This role is crucial for ensuring the precision and timeliness of financial documentation and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports in a timely manner.
2. Conduct quality assurance reviews of regulatory compliance, including tax returns and cost reports.
3. Oversee the allocation of overhead costs and the production of consolidated financial statements.
4. Assist in the daily review of accounting staff work and ensure quality output from the general ledger team.
5. Participate in the preparation and review of operational budgets related to entities and grants.

Compensation:
Annual salary range of $80,000 - $85,000.

Work Schedule:
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for hybrid work arrangements following a training period.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with substantial coursework in Accounting.
- Minimum of five years of experience in general ledger accounting or a combination of accounting and financial auditing in a public accounting context.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly with cost report preparation and not-for-profit accounting, is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is advantageous, along with prior experience in general ledger accounting software.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with significant expertise in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
