At The Shyft Group, we are committed to delivering exceptional results and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. As a Human Resources Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our HR team in various aspects of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, preparing orientation materials and assisting with training logistics.
  • Help with employee relations activities, including addressing employee inquiries and supporting conflict resolution.
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records and updating HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs and employee development initiatives.
  • Contribute to employee engagement activities and initiatives, such as organizing events and surveys to gauge employee satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship.
  • Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic project management or organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.
