Human Resources Development Specialist

At The Shyft Group, we are committed to delivering exceptional results and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. As a Human Resources Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our HR team in various aspects of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, preparing orientation materials and assisting with training logistics.
- Help with employee relations activities, including addressing employee inquiries and supporting conflict resolution.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records and updating HR databases.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulations.
- Support the development and delivery of training programs and employee development initiatives.
- Contribute to employee engagement activities and initiatives, such as organizing events and surveys to gauge employee satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship.
- Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic project management or organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.
