Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As an Orthopedic and Pelvic Health Physical Therapist, you will work one-on-one with patients in private treatment rooms, providing specialized care and personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
  2. Help patients accomplish treatment plans and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises, instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities, and in using assistive and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
  3. Complete discharge planning by consulting with physicians.
  4. Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs, instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment, and recommending outpatient or home health follow-up programs.
  5. Document patient care services by charting in EMR.
  6. Maintain patient confidence and a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, and complying with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.

Qualifications:
  1. Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  2. Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.
  3. 1-2+ years of experience in orthopedics or pelvic health is strongly preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, orthopedic conditions, and evidence-based treatment interventions.
  5. Proficiency in conducting thorough evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
  6. Experience with manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities commonly used in orthopedic physical therapy.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  8. Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and achieving optimal outcomes.
  9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
