Behavioral Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Aide to join our team at About You In Home Care. As a Behavioral Aide, you will play a vital role in providing hands-on support to individuals with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal hygiene and daily living activities
- Observe and document behavior patterns, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to medical staff
- Engage clients in educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities to promote growth and development
- Work collaboratively with the Department of Human Resources (DHR) to execute directives and ensure the well-being of clients
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of one year of related experience in caregiving or an educational environment. Certification or eligibility for certification in crisis management and CPR/First Aid within the first 30 days of employment is required. CDI certification is also a must for this role.
