Motor Vehicle Operator

As a Motor Vehicle Operator with the US Postal Service, you will be responsible for operating a mail truck on a regularly scheduled route to pick up and transport mail in bulk. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a mail truck on a designated route to collect and transport mail
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of mail to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the mail truck and any associated equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances
