Mechanical Journeyperson

Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Journeyperson at General Motors, you will be responsible for maintaining, dismantling, repairing, and replacing mechanical and hydraulic components. You will also layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems. Additionally, you will use various hand or power tools and read and interpret blueprints. Your work will involve operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, vertical lifts, and cranes.
