Pump Repair Technician

Power-Flo Technologies is seeking a skilled Pump Repair Technician to join our team at our Buffalo shop location. The ideal candidate will have experience with submersible and centrifugal style pumps & motors.
- Disassemble and assemble mechanical ac & dc motors, gear units, and submersible and centrifugal style pumps.
- Diagnose problems and failures of incoming units to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Interpret and apply dimensional measurements.
- Measure and record electrical data, mechanical fits, and clearances.
- Record all necessary materials for repair.
- Follow instructions to complete repairs.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area.
- Organize and maintain shop tools and equipment.
- Organize and maintain personal tools and equipment.
- Work overtime as required.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Basic knowledge of PC use.
- Competence with electrical test equipment, shop tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, hoists, etc.
- Mechanical aptitude required.
- Knowledge of pump systems and electric motors.
- Ability to work with a team and independently.
- Experience in pump mechanics.
- Experience with submersible and centrifugal style pumps & motors preferred.
- A valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8 hours.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on elevated platforms.
- Ability to climb ladders.

Opportunities for Growth
Salary Range: Between $17 - $32/hour (based on experience)
