About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse to join our PreOp / PACU team at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center. This is a varied shift nursing position that offers opportunities to work with a diverse patient population and be part of a dynamic healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse in our PreOp / PACU unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also administer medications to patients, monitor for reactions and side effects, and educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least three years of critical care, emergency department, or surgical services experience. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience
