Generalist HR Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Santa Clara Pueblo Administrative. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our HR Director to ensure compliance with federal, state, and tribal laws and regulations related to human resources.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in employee relations, benefits administration, and training. You will be responsible for administering various HR processes, including benefit administration, risk management, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Benefit Administration: Coordinate medical, dental, and vision plans, maintain employee records, and process benefit-related paperwork.
• Risk Management: Work with insurance vendors to ensure cost-saving measures and competitive rates, manage property, liability, and workers' compensation policies, and process claims.
• Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist with job postings, recruitments activities, coordinate interviews, conduct new hire orientations, and process employee data entry.
• Performance Management: Assist with employee evaluations, establish annual performance goals, and support employees and managers through the performance management process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certification in Employee Background Investigations and Adjudication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, software applications, email, internet, and spreadsheets.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
