IT Network Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Generalist to join our team at the Santa Clara Development Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, network administration, and project management.
This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and managing projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and peripherals
- Provide technical support to users, both in person and remotely
- Develop and implement system solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
- Manage projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of services
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT, preferably in a help desk or desktop support role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Server 2003 to present version
- CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ certification preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
