About the Role:

The Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician to join their team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in the field of Child Abuse Pediatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee a new Child Abuse Pediatrics program, including inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic
  • 50% protected time for teaching, research, quality improvement, advocacy, and other scholarly pursuits
  • Serve on the NYC Health + Hospitals system-wide Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Council to develop initiatives, policies, and education on child abuse across the 11-hospital system
  • Provide education and training to medical students, residents, hospital staff, and community partners
  • Academic appointment at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University available commensurate with experience
  • Report directly to the Chair of Pediatrics with mentorship and growth opportunities

Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Child Abuse Pediatrics
