Manufacturing Operations Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Leader to join our team at Land O'Lakes, Inc. This role will provide leadership and guidance to hourly production, quality assurance, maintenance, and distribution employees.
About the Role:
This individual will work closely with members of management staff and corporate to ensure quality products are safe and efficiently produced within scheduled timelines. The Manufacturing Operations Leader will also help coordinate and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage hourly production, quality assurance, maintenance, and distribution employees.
- Collaborate with management staff and corporate to ensure quality products meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and improve Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Ccoordinate off-shift hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Manage employee performance and provide coaching and training as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of increasing responsibility in a food-manufacturing environment, including supervisory accountability.
- HS/GED required.
- HACCP Training a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.
- Familiarity with Lean Practices, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements using Lean Practices, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma principles.
- Knowledge of GMP's, HAACP, sanitation, process improvement, plant safety programs, and quality assurance.
Salary Range: $69,040 - $103,560
