Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Nurse to join our team, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive nursing care to individuals with substance use disorders. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, administering medications, and developing individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with substance use disorders, including medical and mental health evaluations.">
  • Administer and monitor medications, providing education to patients on their proper use and management.">
  • Develop individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and history of each patient.">
  • Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and other medical procedures as necessary.">
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care, advocating for the needs of patients and promoting a supportive environment.">
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records, documenting patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A current and valid LPN/RN license in the state.">
  • Previous experience in substance use treatment and addiction medicine is a significant asset.">
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills, with a focus on empathy and patience.">
  • An understanding of the principles of addiction treatment and a commitment to patient-centered care.">
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.">
