KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop SolidWorks solid models, assembly models, and detailed technical drawings.
- Conduct Finite Element Analyses and simulations including kinematic, linear stress, and transient thermal analyses.
- Collaborate in defining product specifications and enhancements.
- Innovate and design mechanisms to meet requirements for new product lines.
- Create design layouts to validate concepts prior to prototype development.
- Lead testing initiatives to confirm new product designs and enhancements.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to fabricate prototypes of new components.
- Work alongside support staff (draftsmen and technicians) to ensure project completion.
- Engage with product teams to update business activity status.
- Provide flexible support in the engineering processes of product development.
- Approach problem-solving in a systematic, organized manner, documenting findings.
- Foster teamwork by understanding team needs and collaborating effectively.
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a Product Development role with a proven record of:
- Designing products with a focus on manufacturing processes to achieve quality and cost objectives.
- Defining and documenting tools, gauges, fixtures, equipment, routings, and CNC programs.
- Creating engineering prototypes for testing purposes.
- Experience in the Firearms industry is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software or other major solid modeling tools.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to work independently and autonomously.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support development efforts.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Proficient command of the English language, showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Complete all necessary training as mandated by the assigned department and position.
- Engage in and adhere to all company initiatives.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen events, 5S, etc.).

- Within the manufacturing facility, employees may encounter manufacturing noise, airborne chemicals, fine particulate dust, varying temperatures, and industrial lighting.
- The work environment is similar to most manufacturing operations, with potential exposure to excessive noise, temperature variations, and hazards associated with moving machinery.
