Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing Intensive Care Unit to lead our team and drive the overall quality of care provided by ICU personnel. As a key member of our leadership team, you will advise medical staff, other department heads, and administrators in matters related to patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:
As our Director of Nursing Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for leading your team and driving the overall quality of care provided by ICU personnel. You will communicate the organization's goals to the staff as we constantly seek to better serve our community by improving patient experience and delivering exceptional quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the ICU team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Advise medical staff, other department heads, and administrators on patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies
• Communicate the organization's goals to the staff and ensure alignment with our mission and values
• Advocate for your team by bringing any issues, requests, or new ideas from them to senior leadership
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
• Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical best practices and implement them in the ICU

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience
• Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and two (2) years of leadership experience required
• Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
