Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding service to clients and promote bank products and services.
  • Train and support new and existing Mortgage Loan Originators.
  • Generate leads through networking and outreach to real estate companies, builders, and relocation firms.
  • Conduct meetings with potential borrowers to assess their financial needs and recommend suitable mortgage products.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely processing of loans and adherence to closing dates.
  • Negotiate loan terms with clients and maintain compliance documentation.
  • Stay informed about local real estate trends and regulatory changes affecting mortgage products.
  • Achieve significant loan production within the designated market.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven years of experience in mortgage lending.
  • Strong customer service and sales experience, preferably in the mortgage sector.
  • Financial organizational skills and a solid understanding of financial information.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • NMLS registration or the ability to obtain it.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in mortgage software systems and guidelines from FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, and Rural Development.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations including RESPA and MDIA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
