Overview:

The Lead Administrator for Primary Education is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, evaluation, instructional guidance, and administrative management essential for the effective operation of an elementary school serving grades K-6.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage the planning and assessment of educational programs.
  • Provide instructional leadership and ensure effective communication within the school community.
  • Foster community relations and uphold safety standards within the school environment.
  • Administer special programs and manage school facilities efficiently.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in teaching and educational administration, including at least three (3) years in an administrative role at the elementary level.
  • Possession of a postgraduate educational license with relevant endorsements.
  • Endorsement in Administration and Supervision PreK-12.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Thorough understanding of modern public elementary education principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with current curriculum standards and instructional methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively organize and coordinate comprehensive instructional programs.
  • Capability to supervise, evaluate, and develop instructional and support staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with students, staff, and the community.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $130,304 - $198,228, based on the School-based Administrator Scale/Grade 006.


Contract Details:

This is a full-time position with a 260-day contract.
