Job Summary

The YMCA of the Triangle Area is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the We Build People Annual Campaign. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data entry, volunteer database, communication, and reporting for senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage data entry, support, and reporting for the We Build People campaign.
  • Assist with the YMCA Annual Campaign through support of data management, communication, and reporting for senior leadership team.
  • Maintain regular, clear, and concise communication within area of responsibility.
  • Build positive relationships with staff by serving needs and concerns and taking the initiative to provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in general office administration.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
  • Capability to communicate procedures in a positive and professional manner to individuals and/or large groups across all levels of employees.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, and the initiative to be a self-starter with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Must be dependable, efficient, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Multi-lingual desired but not required.
