Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a knowledgeable individual to join our Heavy Equipment Appraisal Team as a Claims Manager. This role involves overseeing our Total Loss teams and ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service throughout the claims process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of heavy equipment appraisers, ensuring precise and equitable assessments of equipment conditions and repairs.
- Implement initiatives for improvement and acknowledge team members who demonstrate outstanding customer service.
- Collaborate closely with your team to provide clear work direction, monitor service levels, and discuss updates on coverage or regulations.
- Oversee the progression of claims and engage in file review sessions to guarantee compliance with established standards.
- Manage workloads effectively and conduct quality audits to ensure timely and accurate claims processing.
- Serve as the technical authority within the claims unit, offering guidance on complex files.
- Review newly submitted claims and assign them to appropriate representatives for evaluation and resolution.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to facilitate sound decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
