Position Overview:

The Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) plays a vital role in delivering exceptional nursing care to patients facing complex medical conditions. This full-time position operates during daytime hours, providing a supportive environment for both patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct all aspects of patient care during assigned shifts.
  • Utilize advanced nursing skills and knowledge to implement the nursing process effectively.
  • Adhere to established nursing standards and practices.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing support staff, including LVNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
  • Consider patients' age and specific needs when performing nursing tasks.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Understand and comply with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiently use computer systems and software relevant to nursing duties.
  • Preferred: A minimum of two years of experience in an ICU setting.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in good standing within the state of practice.
  • Preferred: Two or more years of critical care nursing experience.
