Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse Neurovascular Service PRN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neurovascular Service PRN team at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support.

About the Role

This PRN position offers the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. As a Registered Nurse Neurovascular Service PRN, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients with critical illnesses requiring admission to the Neurovascular Unit. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients experiencing critical illnesses.
  • Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
  • Delegate nursing tasks based on the needs of the patient and the knowledge and skills of the individual selected to perform such tasks.
  • Coordinate the ongoing operations of the unit and be responsible for staffing and scheduling.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Previous critical care or cardiac cath lab experience preferred in a hospital setting.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
