Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role is vital to the ongoing success and development of our operations. The Customer Service Specialist will engage in various administrative tasks within the branch, including but not limited to: managing accounts receivable and payable, tracking employee absences, dispatching service requests, and delivering exceptional customer support while collaborating with service and parts departments. The role may involve handling sensitive information, where confidentiality is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties represent the primary responsibilities of this position. The complexity and scope of tasks may vary based on the individual’s experience and level:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Schedule service appointments for technicians proactively or act as a backup dispatcher.
  • Follow up on completed service requests to confirm customer satisfaction.
  • Understand and oversee compliance with procedures related to third-party companies and technology platforms utilized by key accounts.
  • Perform office management tasks as needed, including assisting walk-in customers and handling phone inquiries.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies to enhance market presence and achieve revenue targets.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent; completion of business or trade school is preferred.

3-5 years of relevant experience in customer service or administrative roles.

Strong analytical and data management skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
