The Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager will oversee the implementation of safety protocols and standards throughout the organization to ensure adherence to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. This role involves fostering relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance trust and drive improvements in safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes programs to guarantee compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including documentation, reporting, training, and program development.
- Identifies and maintains systems for ongoing enhancement of safety performance and compliance measures.
- Evaluates safety metrics and provides leadership with precise reporting to support safety initiatives and allocate resources effectively to high-risk areas.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in safety, ergonomics, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in safety management within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations, particularly in California.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior management.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in dynamic and evolving environments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
