DBSI Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial control devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain process reliability and adherence to industry standards and specifications
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including annual PMs, and troubleshoot complex issues without direct supervision
- Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics, as well as develop proper safety techniques
- Locate sources of problems, investigate job sites, and prepare work sites for completion
- Complete closeout activities, including tool accountability, parts reconciliation, and sanitation tagging
Requirements:
- High School or GED Equivalent
- Programming and troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley
- Journeyman License in the state of Michigan
- 3 years manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or other forms of engineering drawings
- Computer literacy and eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systems
