1st Shift- 8am- 4:30pm (hours may vary 8-10 hrs per day, 5-6 days per week) Job Summary The Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of diesel equipment by performing inspections, conducting preventive maintenance, addressing vehicle issues, making necessary adjustments and alignments, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities -Conducting inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle condition and identify worn or damaged parts. -Complete scheduled preventative maintenance. Install and upgrade components and parts. Complete winterization procedures on equipment. -Address vehicle deficiencies by performing tasks such as removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems. These include power and drive trains, electrical systems, air conditioning, fuel and emission systems, brakes, steering, and hydraulics. -Complete machine shop operations and making precise adjustments and alignments, such as bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units. -Maintain vehicle records -Troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies, perform preventive maintenance on shop equipment. -Controls costs by utilizing warranties and assessing service and parts alternatives. -Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. -All other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent -Merchanical knowledge -Vaild driver's license -Ability to lift up to 50lbs -Ability to work with hands, stand, bend, and stoop for the entirety of the shift
Preferred Skills -1+ year of mechanic experience -CDL or must be willing to obtain -Intermediate computer skills -intermediate analytical skills -Effective time management skills
