Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Relocation bonus Job Title: Electrical/Controls Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Lake Odessa, Michigan, United StatesBenefits Information$3/hr Weekly Attendance BonusMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance Health and Wellness IncentivesPaid Vacation and Holidays 401(k) with the company's Matching ContributionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Short-Term Disability and Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition ReimbursementEmployee DiscountsPrincipal Accountabilities Manufacturing Process ReliabilityMaintain Process and Industry Standards and SpecificationsSafety, Health and EnvironmentEffectively and safely operates standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools andbasic electrical testing equipmentPerform preventative maintenance up to and including Annual PM'sRead and understand mechanical and electrical schematics without issuePossess an extremely strong personal safety philosophy, able to follow all safety policies &procedures, seek out & correct unsafe conditionsComplete complex troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical related issues without directsupervisionFollow prescribed safety rules and regulation as well as other departmental policies and procedures.Help to develop proper safety techniquesLocate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems;using precision measuring and testing instrumentsUnderstand and certify in LOTOIdentify follow-up work requiredAcquire planned materials, tools and documentation for planned work, and work order informationfor reactive workInvestigate job site if required - determine scope of work (reactive work)Prepare work site - scaffolding, safety, etcRespond to interruption work from immediate supervisorMove to next job after completion or as directed by Maintenance SupervisorWith the Maintenance Supervisor, resolve problems as needed to perform workComplete Closeout Activities including, Tool accountability / Parts reconciliation, Sanitation tagging /Notification to Production, Return unused materials and tools, Functional Operations test complete,and arrange for PdM validationComplete, Sign and return hardcopy Work Order to Maintenance Supervisor complete with; WorkDescription, Symptoms, As Found, As Left, Start / Finish time, and Labor Hours and NoteDeficiencies, Delays, any Job Plan Feedback Effectively inform through written communication daily pass-downs issues and actionsHelp to establish and implement preventative maintenance procedures for electronic controlledequipment, plant instrumentation and plant data collection systemsMaintain and troubleshooting electronic controlled equipment, plant instrumentation and plantdata collection systemSelf-starter and high performance individual with ability to prioritize his/her daily workloadWorking knowledge of, ability to troubleshoot and repair analog, digital control devices and sensorsAbility to effectively operate and use an oscilloscope, VOM and other test equipment totroubleshoot and repair industrial control devicesWorking knowledge of serial communications and ability to troubleshoot communications betweenPLC/PC and ASCII devices.
