Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Unit Manager at Buffalo Center, a 200-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in Buffalo, NY.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care and services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and mentoring nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and patient satisfaction
  • Monitoring and evaluating patient care and services to identify areas for improvement
  • Representing the unit's interests and advocating for patients and staff
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid State RN License
  • At least 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care
  • 2 years of experience as a Charge Nurse
  • Strong computer skills and excellent communication skills
