Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing laboratory analyses and distributing test requests to patient care units, facilities, or physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory analyses of laboratory specimens as requested
  • Distribute test requests to patient care units, facilities, or physicians
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide high-quality patient care
  • Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment
  • Be accountable for your performance and take initiative for your professional growth
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, US Army Medical Laboratory Specialist (MLT) course, or enrolled in an accredited MT or MLT training program and has completed clinical training in the area of employment
  • MLT(ASCP) or equivalent; MT(AMT); US Army Diploma (MLT)
