Job Details:
  • This position is a 100% on-site opportunity in Columbia, SC, working for a direct client.
  • The Project Manager will assist in developing business requirements and executing project plans.
  • They will manage project risks and issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely completion.
  • The role involves reporting on project status and strategies orally and in writing.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working with SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Access, and Excel.
  • Ability to create and document key project management documents and artifacts.
  • Superb communications skills, including written and oral communication.
  • Effective listener and willingness to engage with people and organizations.
  • Experience in Medicaid or other healthcare claims system IT projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans.
  • Manage project risks and issues.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables and timely completion.
  • Report on project status and strategies.

Requirements:
  • Project management skills.
  • People skills.
  • Strong background in project management in a healthcare insurance information technology environment.
  • Project planning experience, including effort estimation on technical tasks and resource allocation.

Preferred Skills:
  • Medicaid or Healthcare Delivery Systems.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
