Clinical Nurse II Job Description
**Job Summary:**
The Clinical Nurse II is a key member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care and education to patients and families. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
* Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
**Qualifications:**
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Current RN licensure in the State of Maryland
* Successful completion of hospital, nursing, and unit orientation
* BLS certification and medication certification required
* ACLS certification required for PACU, ICCU, and ED
* NALS certification required for Obstetrical-Nursery or eligible for completion within six months
* Certification in specialty preferred
