POSITION: Facility Maintenance Associate (Full-Time, Non-Exempt)

COMPENSATION: Hourly Rate, plus Benefits eligibility

OVERVIEW

As a Facility Maintenance Associate, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the cleanliness and organization of communal spaces and residential units prior to occupancy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)

  • Exhibit outstanding customer service and teamwork principles consistently.
  • Maintain a secure, clean, and sanitary environment in the clubhouse, office, model units, and all shared areas.
  • Ensure the property remains free from litter, debris, and animal waste.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of waste disposal areas and prepare for scheduled trash collection.
  • Ensure the landscaping and grass are well-kept, including watering plants as necessary.
  • Ensure each apartment is presented in the best possible condition before new residents arrive.
  • Notify the supervisor of any items in need of repair within the apartment, such as damaged flooring or window issues.
  • Assist with apartment turnover processes as instructed.
  • Communicate effectively with the Property Manager or Service Manager regarding maintenance or aesthetic issues that require further attention.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and attend all mandatory training sessions.
  • Ensure understanding and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to resident satisfaction by meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Engage in Cardinal U training as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Positive demeanor, enthusiasm, and energy while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for up to eight hours daily.
  • Ability to communicate and comprehend in English.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to embody the company culture and core values consistently.
