As an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality educational experience for students at Johnston Community College. Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in Mathematics or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics-related coursework. A minimum of one year of teaching experience is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Two to three years of teaching experience in a post-secondary setting, ideally within a community college environment.

Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical computations and problem-solving.
  • Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with computer applications, including Windows, email systems, PowerPoint, and online learning platforms.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively and meet mobility requirements. Occasionally, the role may require moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds and accessing printed materials for instructional purposes.
