Post-Operative Care Specialist

As a post-operative care specialist at Grandview Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. With a focus on providing exceptional patient care, you will evaluate patients, plan and implement nursing care, and document patient outcomes. You will also assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform various patient tests, and administer medications as needed.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and to perform a variety of tasks.
- Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

RequirementsThis is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of approximately $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, you will also receive professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
