About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee to lead and manage a diverse team of direct and indirect reports in the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. They will also have 2+ years of leadership experience and be able to build and inspire a team where adaptability, collaboration, and accountability to performance are critical to success.

The Senior Branch Network Management Trainee will be responsible for coaching, developing, and building a high-performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business. They will also resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business.

The position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment and ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all related regulations. The successful candidate will also meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business.
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business.
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options to support adoption and customer convenience.
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners in collaborating and building strong partnerships to deliver a customer-centric experience.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to build and inspire a team where adaptability, collaboration, and accountability to performance are critical to success.
  • Ability to analyze performance, understand strengths and opportunities, and execute a plan that empowers employees to achieve business objectives.
  • Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills to manage time, prioritize, and delegate tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment.
