The Manufacturing Team Leader position is vital for ensuring the productivity and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes. Overseeing a group of production personnel, you will be tasked with upholding high standards and achieving production goals. Your exceptional leadership abilities and meticulous attention to detail will significantly contribute to our ongoing development and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and oversee employee behavior and efficiency to meet assembly requirements and quality standards
  • Evaluate performance, implement corrective actions for underperforming metrics
  • Maintain production timelines through the coordination of in-station and out-of-station needs
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols
  • Promote quality outcomes through a self-assessment process
  • Encourage continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean methodologies
  • Foster a cohesive team environment through effective employee relations and HR compliance
  • Identify training requirements and facilitate ongoing development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build strong interdepartmental relationships
  • Assist in the administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or automotive setting
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to mentor peers
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
