Quality Assurance Manager

At New Flyer, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes across all production stages. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
- Lead the quality assurance team to conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to rectify quality issues and enhance production processes
- Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and procedures
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action plans for non-conformance issues
- Communicate effectively with senior management, suppliers, and customers regarding quality-related matters
- Ensure that quality control measures align with customer requirements and industry standards
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the transportation or heavy-duty vehicle industry
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and regulatory compliance
- Experience with ISO 9001 standards and implementation of quality management systems
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret quality data
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite
