Micron Technology is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Alignment Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving alignment, process optimization, and efficiency improvements across our manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement process optimization programs to improve efficiency and performance across all manufacturing pillars.
  • Equipment Optimization: Drive equipment optimization initiatives to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and reduce downtime.
  • Quality Improvement: Lead global standardization of process procedures for shared workstations, post-maintenance qualification alignment, and defect reduction initiatives.
  • Cost Reduction: Enable labor productivity improvements through process optimization and system development.
  • People Development: Engage in talent development programs and drive employee engagement and voice improvements.
Standardization of Practices & BKMs
  • Lead Global TPM Core Teams: Address chronic issues, drive improvements, and eliminate waste in process areas.
  • Manage Closure of Area-Level Alignment Projects: Identify and close gaps to defined standardization BKMs.
  • Drive Implementation Plans: Define metrics to measure success and improvements in performance from implementation.
Total Productive Management (TPM)
  • Work with OCT TPM Coordinator: Train, coach, mentor, and prioritize work for TPM core teams.
  • Participate in TPM Step Certification: Consolidate BKMs identified by TPM core teams and collaborate with the area for review and implementation.
  • Establish Library of Workstation-Level BKMs: Monitor and drive BKM alignment status for assigned sites/core teams.
SEAL System BKM Development, Deployment & Sustainment
  • Partner with Customers and IT Teams: Develop systems that drive evolving rule and system-based operation to improve organizational efficiency and performance.
  • Become Expert in Assigned SEAL Standardized System Requirements: Coach and train BKM implementation requirements to the area.
  • Define Area Implementation Plans: Hold teams accountable to meeting implementation plans.
  • Conduct Real-Time Assessment: Identify and close gaps to target adoption of the system.
Maintain Communication and Customer Relations
  • Maintain Strong Relationship with OCT Peer Group: Communicate and respond to issues promptly.
  • Keep Partners and Team Members Informed: Provide periodic progress updates on programs owned.
Demonstrate Leadership
  • Provide Active Coaching and Leadership: Support and guide BKM implementation in areas of responsibility.
  • Create Strong Morale and Team Spirit: Foster open dialogue and address negative relationships.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Science.
  • Experience: At least 5 years' experience in Fab environment, prior experience as CMP Process/Equipment Owner, and strong background in Fab Operations, Process, Equipment, and Micron Systems.
