Job Description

Nexeo is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. This role is at the heart of our operations, where you will focus on optimizing our manufacturing systems, cutting production costs, and ensuring top-notch quality in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes by analyzing product needs and collaborating with equipment vendors.
  • Maximize efficiency by optimizing workflow, space usage, and equipment layout.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across departments and coordinate solutions with project managers.
  • Design 3D CAD models and program multiple machines using Solidworks and Mastercam.
  • Ensure product quality by developing testing methods and providing engineering solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors in various departments to meet manufacturing needs and streamline production.
  • Analyze engineering drawings, improve job times, and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Create and maintain product files and programs, while staying up to date on industry trends and innovations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, including management and leadership roles.
  • Expertise in CAD/CAM software (Solidworks and Mastercam preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead a team and work independently with initiative and drive.
  • Professional attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
Benefits
