Licensed Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Light Counseling. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you will provide psychological services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, including conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, and implementing treatment plans to address a range of mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments using a variety of tools and techniques, including interviews, questionnaires, and tests.
- Diagnose mental health disorders according to established criteria, such as the DSM-5.
- Develop comprehensive case formulations based on assessment data.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to clients' needs.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
- Provide consultation services to schools, businesses, or other organizations as needed.
- Conduct or contribute to clinical research to advance the field of psychology.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in psychological research and practice.
- Attend and present at professional conferences, workshops, and seminars.
- Be a committed Christ follower.
- Requires a Doctoral degree in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited college or university.
- An active and in-good-standing LCP license with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
- Current and up-to-date CAQH profile.
- Current Professional Liability Insurance.
- Complete all required background checks, including drug tests.
