Job Title: Aircraft Assembler II

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Assembler II to join our team at HEICO. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling various components into small to medium-sized aircraft assemblies using blueprints and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assemble components without nonconformities using travelers and work instructions
* Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and schematics
* Operate fabrication and assembly tools, such as rivet guns, drills, and pneumatic grinders
* Use various hardware, including shear pins, rivets, and safety wire
* Maintain a safe working environment and operate shop equipment safely

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* A P license and certification in rotopeen repairs and cold working preferred

Language Skills:

* Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees

Mathematical Skills:

* Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
* Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages

Reasoning Ability:

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
* Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

* The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
* The employee is regularly required to lift 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
* The employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
* The employee is frequently required to talk or listen
* The employee works in intermediate noise levels, such as production areas and shop floors
* Close vision is required
* Minimal travel is required
