Wencor Group is seeking an experienced Aircraft Assembler II to join our team. As an Aircraft Assembler II, you will be responsible for assembling various components into small to medium-sized aircraft assemblies using blueprints and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble components without nonconformities using travelers and work instructions.
- Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
- Operate fabrication and assembly tools, such as rivet guns, drills, and pneumatic grinders, safely and efficiently.
- Use various hardware, including shear pins, rivets, and safety wire, as required.
- Assist in other areas as needed and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; A&P license and certified in rotopeen repairs and cold working preferred.
- Basic computer software skills and ability to problem-solve.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to use assembly and fabrication equipment.
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 100 pounds. The work environment is intermediate noise levels, such as production areas and shop floors.
