Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler II to join our team at HEICO. As an Aircraft Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling various components into small to medium-sized aircraft assemblies using blueprints and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components without nonconformities using travelers and work instructions
  • Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate assembly
  • Operate fabrication and assembly tools, such as rivet guns, drills, and pneumatic grinders, safely and efficiently
  • Use various hardware, including shear pins, rivets, and safety wire, to complete assemblies
  • Assist in other areas as required to support the team's goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; A&P license and certification in rotopeen repairs and cold working preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods
Working Conditions
  • Work in an intermediate noise level environment, such as a production area or shop floor
  • Close vision required for assembly work
  • Minimal travel required
