Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structures Technician Sr. to join our team of experts in the development of human-rated lunar landers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and assembling critical spacecraft components, ensuring the highest level of quality and precision in every aspect of your work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and operate precision calibrated tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, and optical measuring instruments.
  • Perform second-party verifications and hardware inspections to ensure compliance with engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance functions, such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD.
  • Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends as required.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace or related fields.
  • Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate differing opinions in a collaborative environment without conflict among team members.
  • A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
  • Knowledge in the use of 3-D CAD tools to view models for assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and standards.
  • Ability to support Monday through Friday 1st shift 6am - 4:30pm and additional weekend overtime as requested.
Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integration.
  • Experience with composite and metallic structure fabrication, such as precision drilling, cutting, and assembly.
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of avionic instrumentation and harness assemblies.
  • Experience operating heavy lifting equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, around flight-critical hardware.
