Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Cardiac Unit team at Emory Healthcare. As a Cardiac Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to complex medical patients and those with cardiac issues, primarily heart failure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients on telemetry and provide care in accordance with established protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education to patients and families on heart failure management and other cardiac-related topics
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years, preferably in a medical or surgical setting
  • Ability to lift 20-35 pounds and stand for long periods
