In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with all invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures in the Cath lab. These procedures include but are not limited to: cardiac catheterizations and/or coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural Heart (LAAC, TAVR) procedures.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Providing assistance with all invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures in the Cath lab.
  • Facilitating effective communication among departmental staff to ensure interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Assisting patients through all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath, and return to room.
What Qualifications We Are Looking For:
  • A current nursing license in good standing.
  • An Associate's Degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred.
  • Two to three years of Cath Lab experience. Emergency Room / ICU experience preferred.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS).
