  • As a key member of the Dassault Falcon Jet Corp team, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining maintenance plans that meet operational needs while maximizing yield and reducing costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and publish maintenance plans that align with DFJ Service Network operational objectives.
  • Plan and schedule both short and long-term maintenance requirements.
  • Develop work packages considering factors such as maintenance skills, tooling, materials, available man-hours, and downtime.
  • Provide feedback on compliance and inspection programs by monitoring, analyzing, communicating, and elaborating individual customer projects into executable game plans.
  • Maintain a current database of work center capacities, shifts, and manpower requirements for jobs and projects.
  • Perform 'simulated' and 'what if' capacity planning for Sales as needed.
  • Develop and sequence tasks using flow charts to efficiently accomplish aircraft maintenance work scope.
  • Recommend possible solutions to capacity problems to Customer Program Management and Operations Management.
  • Identify material requirements on sold work packages and order accordingly based on JIT principles.
  • Track and report any material delivery issues to all departments prior to aircraft arrival.
  • Define, monitor, and revise standard resource requirements such as tooling, technical data, labor hours, and materials for tasks associated with maintenance activities.
  • Assemble the work order package including but not limited to maintenance forms, inspection forms, service bulletins, checklists, technical data, and engineering.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, maintenance operations managers, and various other department managers to support customer needs.
  • Assist Sales in determining special lead time or downtime requirements for proposed projects; provide data input to support preparation of sales proposals.
  • Provide Gant Charts to Sales, P.M.'s, or A.O.M.'s for proposals and planning.
  • Monitor actual performance vs. planned performance by work center to keep capacity planning current.
  • Observe company rules and regulations and safety policy as they apply to the Planning and Scheduling Department.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Five years of direct experience in aviation industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Mathematical competency and strong computer knowledge, including MS Office and scheduling software experience.
  • Able to work independently and use quantitative data in labor scheduling models to assist management in resolving complex decision-making situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
