Occupational Therapist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Huntington Park, California. As a key member of our Rehabilitation Services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy to patients under the direction and supervision of our experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction, and develop effective treatment plans to achieve established goals.
- Implement treatment programs through direct patient care, and may delegate tasks to supportive personnel as needed.
- Coordinate treatment programs with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide education and advice to patients and their families to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Regularly assess clinical signs and symptoms to determine the effectiveness of treatment and progress towards goals.
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and certification in occupational therapy or foreign-trained equivalent.
- Current CA Occupational Therapy License or License eligibility letter prior to the first day of employment.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required at hire.
