About the Position

The Emergency Physicians Professional Association is seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation Expert to join our team in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Greater Area and St. Cloud, MN. As a Clinical Documentation Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient documentation of patient encounters.

Responsibilities:

  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently, using electronic health records systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Develop strong relationships with healthcare providers and other team members.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program with pre-medical/science coursework or completed an undergraduate degree with science prerequisites.
  • Organic Chemistry I preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Prior healthcare experience or related work/volunteering/shadowing recommended.
  • Proficient typing skills (60 wpm+).
